Hayshire Celebrates Dr. Seuss

Read Across America

Hayshire celebrated Read Across America with a whole school assembly!  Our librarian, Miss Prowell, presented reading awards to several of our K-3 learners for checking out a recording breaking amount of books from the Hayshire library.  Throughout the week, our school participated in theme-based dress up days and answered Dr. Seuss trivia questions.   Some of our learners were caught Red Hatted and got to take part in a special Green Eggs and Ham celebration with our reading specialists, Mrs. Marvis and Mrs. Miller!
