Principal's Welcome
Hayshire Elementary School proudly offers a child-centered educational program for over five hundred children in grades K-3. There is a dedicated focus on developing strong communication skills across the curriculum. The language arts program aims to meet the diverse needs of all students, ensuring that every child has opportunities to learn to read and write successfully. Additionally, building foundational skills in mathematics and problem-solving is a core emphasis at Hayshire Elementary School. The curriculum also encourages a genuine love of learning, which is evident throughout the school community.
Our teachers and staff come from a variety of backgrounds and bring different areas of expertise, all working together to create a warm and supportive environment for a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Part of each day is dedicated to fostering caring classroom environments where students practice and develop social skills. Hayshire encourages students to exemplify “Positive Hayshire P.O.W.E.R,” a guiding slogan displayed throughout the school that reminds everyone to take care of themselves and one another.
The Parent Volunteer Program is a valued aspect of our school community. Parental involvement is strongly supported through an active Parent Teacher Organization, which helps plan special events and programs.
At Hayshire Elementary, we believe that collaboration among parents, teachers, and students is essential as we work together to promote success for all learners!

Positive Hayshire P.O.W.E.R.
Hayshire P.O.W.E.R. is an acronym commonly used across the building as part of the school's character development program. Students are always expected to show positive Hayshire P.O.W.E.R.!

All Kindergarteners and new students receive a Hayshire P.O.W.E.R. t-shirt upon starting school. Hayshire hosts various spirit days throughout the school year where students are invited to wear their shirts.
